Frequently Asked Questions
We’ve compiled answers to the most common questions couples ask us about wedding photography, from booking timelines and pre-wedding shoots to our documentary style and booking process.
Do you offer both photography and videography services?
We focus solely on photography. While we don’t offer videography in-house, we’re happy to recommend partners whose approach complements ours.
What is your photography style and what does documentary wedding photography mean?
We are Singapore based photographers with a photojournalistic approach for weddings. We document the day as it unfolds: the quirks, the chaos, the unfiltered in-betweens that make your story yours.
A journalistic / documentary approach, often referred to as ‘wedding photojournalism’, involves capturing the day as is without excessive posing. This style focuses on storytelling, emphasising on genuine emotions and the sense of the day. Read more about our approach here
What if we are shy and not comfortable in front of the camera?
It’s completely normal to feel uncomfortable in front of the camera, and most couples feel the same way! You don’t need to be a model or know how to pose. Our approach is non-intrusive and we often blend into the background, document the day as it unfolds. That said, we understand the importance of family and couple portraits and will provide gentle guidance during these sessions if needed, to help everyone feel at ease.
Why are your photos not in focus (blur) at times?
Our focus is to capture moments and documenting down memories. Sometimes, these moments can easily slip by and we’d rather capture it than miss it. In addition, our edits is reminiscent of nostalgic film photographs. If you like tack sharp photos with overly directed poses, and overly edited photographs, perhaps we might not be the photographers you should be looking at.
Do you provide RAW or unedited photos?
We do not provide RAW files as part of our deliverables as they are considered unfinished and not true representation of our work.
How far in advance should we book our wedding photographer?
We recommend booking 6 –12 months in advance. But if your date is sooner, don’t worry! Just drop us a message and we’ll get back to you within 48 hours.
When should we do our pre-wedding shoot?
There is no fixed rule but most couples have their pre-wedding shoot about 3 to 6 months before the wedding. That gives plenty of time for editing and using the photos for invites, or your wedding day display. Check out our blog post on what to prepare for your pre-wedding shoot
Can we chat before booking?
Absolutely! We always take the time to arrange a call where possible. It's a chance to get to know each other, answer any questions you might have, and make sure we're the right fit for your day. Drop us a message and we'll take it from there.
Great! I would love to proceed with the booking. How can I do so?

Note that the date will still be an open date until the deposit payment is confirmed.
