We pride ourselves on capturing memories on wedding days. A documentary style approach. A photo journalistic way of looking at weddings. Our purpose is to document the day as raw as it can be. There will be less scripting but more capturing of the day’s little moments, as mundane or as exciting as it is. That is what makes your wedding, truly yours.
Having been wedding photographers in Singapore for close to a decade, we now approach photographing weddings a little differently. Less fluff, and more people moments.
If we are able to be a part of your wedding celebration, we will promise to tell the genuine, honest progression of your wedding day, however, it may turn out to be.

For the brave and the adventurous, this is the quintessential Bottled Groove experience. Experience the bustling heart of this city we call home as we walk, talk, roam and explore every nook and cranny Singapore has to offer. We could end up anywhere, from rustic staircases and cafes, quiet alleyways, busy traffic junctions, HDBs or even end up in an old provision shop.
Warning: this is only for the young and the young at heart.

Our pre-wedding sessions can range from extremely goofy and fun, to moody, artistic, and directive. It highly depends on your personalities!
If you are not having fun, then we are doing it wrong. Do not worry about being awkward, you are not models and neither are we! Just, let the groove out from your bottles and we will handle the rest.

The way we conduct family photography sessions are more of documenting down the “a day in the life”.
Ideally, we want parents to remember how messy and disorganised it can be, bringing up children and yet find beauty/joy in it.
We believe these memories would be more valuable in the future, to remind one that parenting is a challenge and not always rainbows and butterflies.

THE DOCUMENTARY APPROACH
Weddings were never meant to be perfect. Relive the moments through the photographs that we seek to capture for you.
A journalistic / documentary approach, often referred to as ‘wedding photojournalism’, involves capturing the day as it naturally unfolds without excessive posing or interference. This style focuses on storytelling, emphasising on genuine emotions and the sense of the day.
To show authenticity through our photographs, we often photograph unscripted moments as they happen, even if it is considered ‘mundane’ or ‘doesn’t make sense’ to the casual, external observer. The photograph itself will contribute to the narrative of the day, in which it will be chronologically told to inform a complete story of the day.
In a nutshell, the photographs will often feel more personal, unique and genuine because of how rooted these moments are. And only those in the know, well, will know.
