If you are one of the many couples who have been doing their intensive and extensive research of searching for the ‘right’ wedding photographer in Singapore, you will know what it is like to dive head first into this crowded sea. There are so many studios, wedding photography packages, and many of them consist of portfolios that look beautiful, yet you cannot pinpoint what makes it so strangely similar.
This is the classic “red ocean”, in which photographers compete on the same set of things: the hours, the pricing, and the glamorously posed photos.
Everything looks the same, from one to the other.
At Bottled Groove Photography, we chose from the very beginning to not be in the red ocean (although sometimes we do end up there LOL). Instead, we try to create a space, our own space - the blue ocean. A space where couples embrace authenticity, honest emotions and powerful, artful compositional candid storytelling and for couples to find a wedding photographer who try to see their day differently.
What We Do Not Do
We are not the type of Singapore wedding photographers who will lock you into rigid “10-hour, 3 -outfit, 2 location” kind of packages. Yes it is stated within our ratecard but everything is a rough guideline which highly depends on how the day goes.
We do not rely on cookie-cutter (zzzz) posing where every couple ends up with the same social media photo - essentially the same from one to the other.
While venues are beautiful, they will never be the star of your wedding day story.
More than just a Photoshoot
Some studios / teams / photography companies use props, highly stylised eloborate styled shoots, or Instagram-worthy aesthetics, but that is not us. We have deliberately decide not to focus on those aspects (even though we do it) because we do not want your day to feel like just a photoshoot. We do not want to head into the price war - who is the cheaper wedding photographer in Singapore - to be the deciding factor either. YOUR STORY deserves more than just cheapening our rates for it.
