Katong on Film // Their love story in 35mm

With each passing day, the love for film photography sessions in the 35mm format at night grows fonder. I have only ever done a handful, but there’s something just so mesmerizing about the night and the lights that engulf it. It is not easy, for sure, because of how constantly we have to look for bright enough lights to shoot at.

Being versatile about it is key. Also, being deliberate about it is essential.

However, the spontaneity of the couple and how they respond to you or going with the flow, is of the most importance. Such as the groom deciding on going ahead with the pre-wedding shoot, even when he spilled mocha all over his clothes.
