BE YOURSELF.

Our photography sessions are often more about you, and less of the dramatic backdrop, the vast landscapes or iconic buildings. Tell us about yourselves. What you love. What interests or disgusts you. It should be focused on just the two of you.

Be yourself, it makes our jobs easier, and the photos turn out better.

Yearam + Jiawei // Universal Studios Singapore Pre-wedding

WHY HELLO THERE! Welcome to the post of my first ever pre-wed session at Universal Studios Singapore, with Y + J hahahahha - better late than never I guess?

Universal Studios Singapore has to be one of the more popular paid venues to have a pre-wedding session besides the National Gallery I guess, and yes, I am always late to the game lol. The mad rain storm that visited us the moment we entered Sentosa did not help proceedings (or did it?) but really, a shoutout to Y + J as well as Levin for braving the rain at times, being so open to our quirky suggestions and laughing ever so loudlly at every point and turn. Hope the photographs did your openness justice!

Jia Yee + Bryan // Tampines Pre-wedding

I have lived in Tampines all my life and when I first conceptualised the idea of having street walks around neighbourhoods with Erin, all I ever wanted was someone to have a couple pick Tampines for the location. I got my wish with Jia Yee and Bryan as they wanted to capture memories of their future home (HELLO NEIGHBOURS!) and I was more than glad to play ‘tour guide’

Melody + Nic // Jurong Lake Gardens Pre-wedding

Probably one of the hardest things being a photographer during a pre-wed session is not to touch on tried and tested 'poses' and heading to the same spots within a location. After photographing at Jurong Lake Gardens a few times already this year, I was kept awake thinking about how to photograph my next couple there without going through motion (yes I am always stressed). I told Nic, the groom, during the trip there that we're gonna go wild and vastly different and if they were okay with it.

With a little input from me but largely taking the lead from the dynamic between bride and groom - Melody and Nic owned their pre-wed sess in the end. Thank you for making it a breeze you guys. Phewwwwww.

Cathy + GC // Jurong Lake Gardens Pre-wedding

There were times when we were afraid the weather might dampened our pre-wedding session, especially when it has been raining the past couple of days. Ended up, we were worried for nothing, as Cathy and GC’s pre-wed session was greeted by a magnificent sunrise and beautiful dispersed clouds.

Cherie + Leon // Seletar Pre-wedding

So, it's quite obvious that the creative industry faces burnout easily, especially when it is always easier (and less brain racking) to repeat photos/poses that are tried and tested for photographers. I'll be the first to admit - I have overloaded myself a little during the month of August for the fear of a lull month (Hungers Hantu Festival).

I 'forgot' to rest up. I am one that tends to burn out easier and faster than many of my fellow peers - cause I weak lol. Anyways - lesson learnt - when it's time to rest, one must and not fear there is 'nothing to do'.

Sharing some photographs from Cherie and Leon's pre-wedding session, where I tested out a vintage Russian lens for the first time! Love the vibes man.

Shiya + Gary // Tiong Bahru and Coney Island Pre-wedding

It is unbelievable that almost 9 months has passed since the year started.

It has been a rollercoaster of a ride. It has many downs but also plenty of ups. You must have heard the joyous news yesterday that our government had prioritised weddings and have given our couples and vendors such as ourselves some breathing room in terms of flexibility during planning.
