The raw emotions. The spontaneous actions. The inescapable moments.
We pride ourselves on capturing memories on wedding days. The key, or even the mundane moments for you to look back and smile, laugh and relieve the emotions later. Being surrounded by close friends and family members, it is almost certain that you will not be able to keep up with the wedding day’s actions. Leave that to us, your documentary wedding photographers.
Rachel + YC // ROM at Min Jiang Dempsey
Always happy to have opportunities to head back to Min Jiang Dempsey for ROMs and wedding days!
Elizabeth + Sam // Hotel Fort Canning Wedding
Elizabeth and Sam’s wedding ceremony at Fullerton Hotel. Although they had a proper wedding celebration in the States, they also felt compelled to have one for friends and family residing here in our sunny little red dot too.
It became literally super sunny that day haha.
Freda + Joel // Min Jiang at Dempsey and Grace Baptist Church Wedding
For Freda and Joel, it was a first photographing at one of our favourite venues, Min Jiang Dempsey, in the evening. Just like another of our favourite, CHIJMES, the night exudes a certain charm and pristine surrealness (spruced up by floral styling by Khoocoon) to the environment and made me fall in love with Min Jiang Dempsey just a little more.
Amanda + Roger // Aldersgate Methodist Church and Man Fu Yuan at Intercontinental Hotel Wedding
It was an amazing two weeks with Amanda and Roger and I felt totally at home with these two. Split across two weeks, we ‘journeyed’ from their homes to church, and then a dinner for relatives at Man Fu Yuan and closed with a party themed dinner at JB101 (a first for me too!)
What an experience.
Week 1
Liying + Kevin // Capella Singapore Wedding
As much as I want to type out my thoughts about the wedding, all I can think of is that I got to work with videography team Mr Bombastic Productions again, and how much fun it is. Always. lol. Covid brain in effect.
Melissa + Andrew // Tamarind Hill & Church of Divine Mercy Wedding
Throughout my relatively short career thus far as a wedding photographer, I've learnt a few things - one of which is sending just 'ok' photos are, well, ok. What I mean by 'ok' photos are photos that are not going to bag you awards.
I've learnt that by being in this business, it is 'ok' to have couples who are awkward (just like me) in front of camera.
Emily + Zhen Ming // Empress ACM Wedding
It’s been a while, Empress ACM. Also back is me wielding the Fujifilm brand again. After a year on the Sony, I realised that photography is not always about pin-point sharpness. It is rather more similar to how a wedding day unfolds, the rawness, the emotions/feels, and embracing the imperfection of it all. Of course, the wonderful colour science always does the images justice.
Trixie + Melvyn // Redhouse Seafood Grand Copthorne Wedding
Another new experience photographing at a popular wedding location - the Redhouse Seafood at Grand Copthorne. Can tell why it has become increasingly popular over this couple of years with its big bright windows that allow natural light to stream through and of course its delicious looking food. The wedding was also spruced up by guests turning up in the wonderful local fashion brand Dear Samfu, which bride Trixie is a co-founder of!
JM + Wai Yinn // ROM at Min Jiang Dempsey
Now that weddings are in full flow without much restrictions, there would be times when I miss the quieter moments. With J + W, it was as if the Covid restrictions were never lifted. They were firm on having a private solemnisation for just their family and themselves and their ROM couldn’t have been anymore beautiful, in its own special way at Min Jiang Dempsey.
